# Refacet > Refacet is an AI resume builder that interviews you. It asks one follow-up question at a time about your jobs, projects and education, writes resume bullets only from your answers (no invented metrics, tools or titles), and tailors your resume to each job description. It runs in the browser at https://app.refacet.app and as a desktop app for macOS and Windows. How it works: - Answer questions instead of filling in a template. Refacet asks what a good recruiter would: dates, your part in the work, what changed because of you. - Each answer becomes a card with resume bullets. You approve every card before it is saved, and every claim traces back to something you said. - Paste a job description to see which requirements you meet and which are missing, then lay out a resume for that role and export it as a PDF. - Import an existing resume or a LinkedIn data export; Refacet asks about the gaps. - Seven languages: English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, French and Spanish. Up to three language versions stay in sync; translation is free. Pricing (web app): 300 free credits on sign-up, no card needed. Credit packs are one-time purchases, no subscription: $5 for 1,000 credits, $10 for 2,500 credits, $20 for 6,000 credits. Purchased credits are valid for 6 months. Each AI action costs a fixed number of credits: interview reply 6 credits, job description match 20 credits, resume import 30 credits, polish a bullet 3 credits, read a screenshot of a job posting 1 credit, translation free. The desktop app keeps data on your computer and is free with your own AI key. Privacy: in the web app each account's data lives in its own separate workspace. The desktop app stores everything locally. The free tools on this site need no account and store nothing that is typed into them. ## Guides - [AI resume builder](https://www.refacet.app/ai-resume-builder/): How Refacet builds a resume by interviewing you, and why it never invents experience. - [Tailor your resume to a job description](https://www.refacet.app/tailor-resume-to-job-description/): Match a resume to a job posting: which requirements you meet, what is missing, a resume laid out for that role. - [Turn your LinkedIn profile into a resume](https://www.refacet.app/linkedin-to-resume/): Import a LinkedIn data export or an existing resume, then fill the gaps by answering questions. - [Refacet vs Teal vs Rezi vs Kickresume](https://www.refacet.app/ai-resume-builders-compared/): How four AI resume builders write your resume, what each costs, and which to pick for your situation. ## Free tools (no sign-up) - [Resume bullet improver](https://www.refacet.app/tools/resume-bullet-improver/): Answer two questions; get the bullet back with your real numbers. - [Resume bullet checker](https://www.refacet.app/tools/resume-bullet-checker/): Weak verbs, missing numbers, passive voice — checked line by line. - [Resume keyword scanner](https://www.refacet.app/tools/resume-keyword-scanner/): See which keywords from a job description your resume is missing. - [Resume action verbs](https://www.refacet.app/tools/resume-action-verbs/): Strong verbs by what you did, and the weak ones to replace. - [Resume summary generator](https://www.refacet.app/tools/resume-summary-generator/): Two summaries written from your experience only, nothing invented. - [LinkedIn headline generator](https://www.refacet.app/tools/linkedin-headline-generator/): Five headlines from your role, focus and one highlight. - [Cover letter generator](https://www.refacet.app/tools/cover-letter-generator/): A short letter for one job, from your resume — gaps left out, not faked. ## Product - [Home and pricing](https://www.refacet.app/): what Refacet does, prices per action, questions and answers - [Web app](https://app.refacet.app): sign in with Google or email ## Optional - [Privacy policy](https://www.refacet.app/privacy/) - [Terms of service](https://www.refacet.app/terms/)
